Is your dog currently getting dry food?
Then give your dog’s digestion a few days to get used to the fresh food. Simply mix the FreshMenu step by step into the usual food – after around 10 days the transition is complete.

Then often no or only a very short transition period is needed.

Are your FreshMenus or the cooling packs slightly thawed when you unpack them? Is there a little condensation in the packaging? No cause for concern.
Our packaging is specially designed for chilled shipping and keeps your FreshMenus reliably cool during transport.
You don't have to freeze all the FreshMenus. Just put a few FreshMenus straight in the fridge. That way you always have a fresh meal on hand for the next few days.
Unopened, the FreshMenus keep in the fridge for up to 7 days.
Store all remaining FreshMenus at −18 °C in the freezer compartment or chest freezer.

Yes. Dogs need specific nutrients, not specific ingredients. Our FreshMenu Vegan provides all essential nutrients – amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements – in needs-based amounts, purely from plant sources and our PreMix.
From lupin and pea protein – two high-quality plant protein sources with a balanced amino acid profile. Together they provide 40% plant protein and form the base of the meal.
Yes. Lupin and pea complement each other in their amino acid profile, and via our PreMix we ensure that critical nutrients are covered as needed. So the supply is complete – even without animal ingredients.
Taurine is not strictly essential for dogs, as they can produce it themselves from the amino acids methionine and cysteine. Our recipe is balanced so that the precursors are sufficiently present. When in doubt, discuss feeding with your vet.
Yes. It fully supplies your dog with everything it needs each day. You don't need to supplement anything.
As it's completely free from animal ingredients, it's a good choice for intolerances to animal proteins such as chicken, beef or fish. If your dog has a known lupin or pea allergy, it isn't suitable.
Vegan is our purely plant-based variety: a protein base of lupin and pea instead of meat. Our other varieties use animal proteins. For dogs with animal-protein intolerances – or out of conviction – Vegan is the right choice.

The amount depends on weight, age and activity. The feeding calculator on this page gives you a guide. For adult dogs, the daily amount ranges roughly from 200 g to 2,200 g depending on body weight.
Give the digestion a few days and mix the FreshMenu into the usual food step by step: days 1–3 around 25%, days 4–6 about 50%, days 7–9 around 75%, and from day 10 onwards 100%.
Yes. In the first few days, softer stools, mild flatulence or a changed stool odour can occur. It simply shows that digestion is adjusting to the fresh food – after about a week everything settles.
For the best tolerability we recommend the FreshMenu as a standalone meal. A clear separation of fresh or wet food and dry food makes digestion easier.
Unopened: frozen at at least −18 °C, or up to 7 days in the fridge. Opened: up to 2 days in the fridge. FreshMenus you won't feed within the next 7 days are best frozen again.
Room temperature is ideal. It's gentle on the stomach, and aroma and flavour develop better. Please don't heat it in the microwave; a brief lukewarm water bath in the sealed pouch is enough.
Freezing is one of the gentlest methods of preservation. It keeps freshness and quality intact – completely without preservatives.
