Is your dog currently getting dry food?
Then give your dog’s digestion a few days to get used to the fresh food. Simply mix the FreshMenu step by step into the usual food – after around 10 days the transition is complete.

Is your dog already getting wet or fresh food?
Then often no or only a very short transition period is needed.

    75 % FreshMenu

Almost there: the FreshMenu becomes the main meal.

    From day 10
    100 % FreshMenu

Fully switched – from now on it's fresh only.

Why gentle preparation matters so much

Our FreshMenus are gently sous-vide cooked in an aroma pouch. This preserves the natural nutrients and flavour.

Delivery, storage & serving: how easy Fresh works

Our FreshMenus are shipped frozen – the gentlest method of preservation. This keeps them fresh without chemical preservatives.

Slightly thawed? No cause for concern

Are your FreshMenus or the cooling packs slightly thawed when you unpack them? Is there a little condensation in the packaging? No cause for concern.

Our packaging is specially designed for chilled shipping and keeps your FreshMenus reliably cool during transport.

Fridge instead of thawing stress

You don't have to freeze all the FreshMenus. Just put a few FreshMenus straight in the fridge. That way you always have a fresh meal on hand for the next few days.

Unopened, the FreshMenus keep in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Store all remaining FreshMenus at −18 °C in the freezer compartment or chest freezer.

How to serve your FreshMenus

Best served at room temperature.

Forgot to thaw? Just place the sealed pouch briefly in a lukewarm water bath. Please do not heat in the microwave.

Convincing in the bowl. And in everyday life.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about FreshMenu Chicken

Which dogs is FreshMenu Chicken suitable for?

FreshMenu Chicken is a complete food for adult and senior dogs, regardless of breed or size. Thanks to its low fat content and easy digestibility, it's especially suited to dogs with a sensitive stomach, calmer or older dogs and anyone looking for a light, well-tolerated meal.

What's in FreshMenu Chicken – and why sweet potato, apple & raspberry?

The base is fresh chicken as the only animal protein source, rounded out with sweet potato, carrot, pea, apple, raspberry, hemp oil and natural prebiotics. Sweet potato provides easily digestible carbohydrates and fibre, apple adds soluble fibre, and raspberry contributes natural antioxidants. Every ingredient has a purpose – nothing is filler.

Is FreshMenu Chicken a single-protein food?

Yes. Chicken is the only animal protein source – no mix of different meats. That keeps the recipe simple and is handy when you want to know exactly what your dog is eating, for example while monitoring intolerances.

Why do you use chicken meat, heart and stomach?

The chicken share (66 %) is made up of chicken meat (38 %), chicken stomach (19 %) and chicken heart (9 %). Heart and stomach are high-quality offal in food-grade quality that naturally provide valuable nutrients – much like a dog would take in from prey in the wild. The result is a natural, balanced nutrient base.

Is FreshMenu Chicken low in fat and easy to digest?

Yes. With around 3.9 % fat and 84 kcal/100 g, chicken is one of our lightest recipes. The gentle sous-vide cooking makes it easy on the stomach too – ideal for dogs that need a reduced-fat, tummy-friendly meal.

Is chicken suitable for dogs with a sensitive stomach?

Many dogs with sensitive digestion tolerate the lean chicken well because it's low in fat, easy to digest and reduced to a single protein source. If your dog has a known chicken allergy, however, it isn't the right choice – our Sensitive varieties Horse or Venison are the better fit then.

Is FreshMenu Chicken suitable for senior dogs?

Yes. Older dogs in particular benefit from a light, low-fat and easily digestible meal. As a complete food, FreshMenu Chicken supplies everything they need without putting unnecessary strain on the metabolism.

How much FreshMenu Chicken does my dog need per day?

The right amount depends on your dog's weight, age and activity level. The feeding calculator further up this page gives you an initial guide. For adult dogs, the daily amount of chicken ranges roughly from 250 g to 2,300 g depending on body weight. Keep an eye on your dog's weight and adjust as needed.

How does FreshMenu Chicken (Adult) differ from Puppy Chicken?

Both are based on chicken but are tailored to different life stages. Adult Chicken is low in fat and light, covering the needs of grown dogs. Puppy Chicken (with tapioca, courgette & apple) contains more protein and added omega-3 fatty acids for growth and the development of the brain and nervous system. For puppies up to around 12 months we recommend the Puppy recipe.

Can I alternate between chicken and other varieties (e.g. beef)?

Yes. Many dogs enjoy variety in the bowl, and you can freely combine the varieties. With sensitive dogs it's best to introduce new varieties gradually. Switching isn't a must, though – if your dog is happy with chicken, it can have it as a complete food long term.
