What's inside?

For this FreshMenu, we use only beef as the sole animal protein source – consisting of muscle meat, heart and liver. This provides, among other things, natural iron, vitamin B12 and a high nutrient density.

Carrot and broccoli add fibre and micronutrients to the recipe, while potato provides easily digestible energy. Pear and strawberry round off the FreshMenu with natural antioxidants.

Natural prebiotics and hemp oil complete the balanced recipe.

Delivery, storage & serving: how easy Fresh works

Our FreshMenus are shipped frozen – the gentlest method of preservation. This keeps them fresh without chemical preservatives.

Slightly thawed? No cause for concern

Are your FreshMenus or the cooling packs slightly thawed when you unpack them? Is there a little condensation in the packaging? No cause for concern.

Our packaging is specially designed for chilled shipping and keeps your FreshMenus reliably cool during transport.

Fridge instead of thawing stress

You don't have to freeze all the FreshMenus. Just put a few FreshMenus straight in the fridge. That way you always have a fresh meal on hand for the next few days.

Unopened, the FreshMenus keep in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Store all remaining FreshMenus at −18 °C in the freezer compartment or chest freezer.

How to serve your FreshMenus

Best served at room temperature.

Forgot to thaw? Just place the sealed pouch briefly in a lukewarm water bath. Please do not heat in the microwave.

Convincing in the bowl. And in everyday life.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about FreshMenu Beef

Which dogs is FreshMenu Beef suitable for?

FreshMenu Beef is a complete food for adult dogs, regardless of breed or size. With its high meat content and hearty aroma, it's especially the right choice for active and fussy dogs that need a tasty, nutrient-rich meal.

Is FreshMenu Beef a complete food?

Yes. It fully supplies your dog with everything it needs each day – energy, essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. You don't need to supplement anything.

Is Beef a single-protein food?

Yes. Beef is the only animal protein source – no mix of different meats. That keeps the recipe simple and is handy when you want to know exactly what your dog is eating, for example while monitoring intolerances.

Is FreshMenu Beef suitable for senior dogs?

Yes. As a complete food it supplies older dogs with everything they need too. As beef is richer than our lighter recipes, simply keep an eye on the right portion size for calmer seniors.

Is beef suitable for sensitive dogs?

Many dogs tolerate beef well as a reduced single-protein recipe. If your dog has a known beef allergy, it isn't the right choice – our Sensitive varieties Horse or Venison are the better fit then. For very fat-sensitive dogs, our lean Chicken can be the lighter alternative.

How does Beef differ from FreshMenu Chicken?

Both are complete foods for adult dogs but set different priorities. Beef is richer, with a high meat content, hearty aroma and natural iron. Chicken is lower in fat and especially easy to digest. Which variety suits better depends mainly on your dog's taste and tolerance.

What's in FreshMenu Beef – and why carrot, broccoli & strawberry?

The base is fresh beef as the only animal protein source, rounded out with potato, carrot, broccoli, pear, strawberry, hemp oil and natural prebiotics. Potato provides easily digestible energy, carrot and broccoli add fibre and micronutrients, and strawberry contributes natural antioxidants. Every ingredient has a purpose – nothing is filler.

How high is the meat content?

FreshMenu Beef has a high meat content of 62% from muscle meat, heart and liver. This provides high-quality animal protein and a high nutrient density. With around 5.9% fat and 104 kcal/100 g, it's richer than our lean chicken.

Why do you use muscle meat, heart and liver?

The beef share (62%) is made up of beef meat (28%), beef heart (28%) and beef liver (6%). Heart and liver are high-quality offal in food-grade quality that naturally provide valuable nutrients such as iron, vitamin B12 and taurine – much like a dog would take in from prey in the wild.

Why is hemp oil included?

Hemp oil provides essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. The body can't produce them itself. They support normal skin function, contribute to a healthy coat and are involved in numerous metabolic processes.

Does Beef contain natural prebiotics?

Yes. Chicory, psyllium husks and coconut flour provide the prebiotics. They serve as food for beneficial gut bacteria and support a healthy gut microbiome.

Why are herbs included?

Basil, parsley, marjoram and thyme provide natural plant compounds and round off the recipe in terms of flavour.

Is FreshMenu Beef grain-free and sugar-free?

Yes. Beef is grain-free and sugar-free – completely without preservatives, colourings, flavourings or flavour enhancers.

What does minerals mean in the ingredient list?

Every FreshMenu is supplemented with vitamins, minerals and trace elements as needed – via our in-house PreMix. We only add what is genuinely required. What the ingredients already provide naturally, we don't add artificially.

Do I still need to supplement Beef?

No. As a complete food, FreshMenu Beef fully covers the needs of a healthy adult dog.

How much FreshMenu Beef does my dog need per day?

The right amount depends on your dog's weight, age and activity level. The feeding calculator on this page gives you an initial guide. For adult dogs, the daily amount of beef ranges roughly from 150 g to 2,000 g depending on body weight. Keep an eye on your dog's weight and adjust as needed.

How do I best transition my dog to Beef?

Give your dog's digestion a few days and mix the FreshMenu into the usual food step by step: days 1–3 around 25% beef, days 4–6 about 50%, days 7–9 around 75%, and from day 10 onwards 100%. If your dog already gets wet or fresh food, it can start straight away.

My dog has softer stools during the transition. Is that normal?

Yes. In the first few days, softer stools, mild flatulence or a changed stool odour can occur. It simply shows that digestion is adjusting to the fresh food – after about a week everything settles.

Can I mix Beef with dry food?

For the best tolerability we recommend the FreshMenu as a standalone meal. A clear separation of fresh or wet food and dry food makes digestion easier.

Can I alternate between Beef and other varieties?

Yes. Many dogs enjoy variety in the bowl, and you can freely combine the varieties. With sensitive dogs it's best to introduce new varieties gradually. Switching isn't a must, though – if your dog is happy with beef, it can have it as a complete food long term.

How do I store FreshMenu Beef?

Unopened: frozen at at least −18 °C, or up to 7 days in the fridge. Opened: up to 2 days in the fridge. FreshMenus you won't feed within the next 7 days are best frozen again.

What temperature should I serve Beef at?

Room temperature is ideal. It's gentle on the stomach, and aroma and flavour develop better – many dogs accept the food particularly well this way. Please don't heat it in the microwave; a brief lukewarm water bath in the sealed pouch is enough.

Why are the FreshMenus delivered frozen?

Freezing is one of the gentlest methods of preservation. It keeps freshness and quality intact – completely without preservatives.
