FreshMenu Sensitive Venison is a grain-free complete food for adult, nutritionally sensitive dogs. Thanks to the rarely used protein source venison (deer), it's especially suited to dogs with food intolerances, sensitive skin or a sensitive digestion.

Yes. It fully supplies your dog with everything it needs each day – energy, essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. You don't need to supplement anything.

Yes. Venison is the only animal protein source – deer meat with offal, no mix with other meats like chicken or beef. That's ideal when you're monitoring intolerances or feeding an elimination diet.

Yes. As a complete, easily tolerated and light food it suits older dogs too – sensitive seniors in particular benefit from the low-fat, low-allergen recipe.

Venison is a rarely used, low-allergen protein source and therefore a good choice for food intolerances or an elimination diet. If your dog has a known venison allergy it isn't suitable – our Sensitive Horse can be an alternative then. When in doubt, talk to your vet.

Venison belongs to our Sensitive line: grain-free and with a particularly low-allergen protein source. Our Adult varieties Chicken and Beef use more common proteins. For nutritionally sensitive dogs, venison – or horse – is usually the better choice.

The base is venison (deer meat with offal) as the only animal protein source, rounded out with cucumber, buckwheat, pumpkin, celery, apple, raspberry, hemp oil and natural prebiotics. Buckwheat provides easily digestible carbohydrates, pumpkin and celery add fibre, and raspberry and apple contribute natural antioxidants. Every ingredient has a purpose – nothing is filler.

FreshMenu Venison has a meat content of 52% from deer meat (41%) and offal (11%). With around 3.8% fat and 97 kcal/100 g it's particularly light and low in fat.

The venison share (52%) is made up of deer meat (41%) and offal (11%). Offal is a high-quality, food-grade component and naturally provides valuable nutrients such as iron and B vitamins – much like a dog would take in from prey in the wild.

Hemp oil provides essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. The body can't produce them itself. They support normal skin function, contribute to a healthy coat and are involved in numerous metabolic processes.

Yes. Chicory, psyllium husks and coconut flour provide the prebiotics. They serve as food for beneficial gut bacteria and support a healthy gut microbiome – especially valuable with a sensitive digestion.

Basil, parsley, marjoram and thyme provide natural plant compounds and round off the recipe in terms of flavour.

Yes. Venison is grain- and sugar-free. The carbohydrate source is buckwheat – a pseudo-cereal that is naturally gluten-free and particularly well tolerated. Completely without preservatives, colourings, flavourings or flavour enhancers.

Every FreshMenu is supplemented with vitamins, minerals and trace elements as needed – via our in-house PreMix. We only add what is genuinely required. What the ingredients already provide naturally, we don't add artificially.

No. As a complete food, FreshMenu Venison fully covers the needs of a healthy adult dog.

The right amount depends on your dog's weight, age and activity level. The feeding calculator on this page gives you an initial guide. For adult dogs, the daily amount of venison ranges roughly from 200 g to 2,200 g depending on body weight. Keep an eye on your dog's weight and adjust as needed.

Give your dog's digestion a few days and mix the FreshMenu into the usual food step by step: days 1–3 around 25% venison, days 4–6 about 50%, days 7–9 around 75%, and from day 10 onwards 100%. If your dog already gets wet or fresh food, it can start straight away.

Yes. In the first few days, softer stools, mild flatulence or a changed stool odour can occur. It simply shows that digestion is adjusting to the fresh food – after about a week everything settles.

For the best tolerability we recommend the FreshMenu as a standalone meal. A clear separation of fresh or wet food and dry food makes digestion easier.

Yes. Many dogs enjoy variety in the bowl, and you can freely combine the varieties. With sensitive dogs it's best to introduce new varieties gradually. Switching isn't a must, though – if your dog is happy with the venison, it can have it as a complete food long term.

Unopened: frozen at at least −18 °C, or up to 7 days in the fridge. Opened: up to 2 days in the fridge. FreshMenus you won't feed within the next 7 days are best frozen again.

Room temperature is ideal. It's gentle on the stomach, and aroma and flavour develop better – many dogs accept the food particularly well this way. Please don't heat it in the microwave; a brief lukewarm water bath in the sealed pouch is enough.

Freezing is one of the gentlest methods of preservation. It keeps freshness and quality intact – completely without preservatives.
